Return Policy

1. Overview

Shopping at Echinastone.com is entirely risk-free, Echinastone and guarantees it. We have several policies in place to ensure that your experience with us will be safe, easy and 100% satisfactory.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. As one of the Internet´s most successful retailers, every transaction must result in a pleasant, convenient and successful shopping experience. If it is not, we are happy to offer a full refund or exchange on the return of any merchandise within 15 days of the shipment date excluding shipping and insurance charges if apply.

To streamline your return, we ask that you please note the following:

  • If you are uncertain in the merchandise quality or appearance, please discuss any additional questions you may have with a customer service representative before purchasing the merchandise.
     
  • If you not satisfied with the merchandise you receive, please contact us IMMEDIATELY and we will assist you in obtaining a replacement of merchandise.
     
  • If you have decided that you do not want the merchandise after it has been shipped, but before it arrives, DO NOT REFUSE THE POSTAL DELIVERY. If the merchandise is refused you will be liable for brokerage charges and duty incurred upon its return.
     
  • If you are returning the merchandise purchased from the Auction ( such as Ebay or Yahoo), please note that Auction Item ID and User Auction ID must be clearly displayed on the outside of the package. If a return does not have an Auction Item ID and User Auction ID the package will be refused and sent back to you at your expense.
     
  • If you are returning the merchandise please do not write jewelry, diamonds or any other identifiable luxury item word in order to protect the package against possible theft during transportation.
     

2. Definitions

"Client": The trader being a company, partnership, sole trader or other organisation or any individual, which undertakes to accept Echinastone Services.

"Partner", "Affiliate": A third-party organisation that provides Internet development, hosting and/or Internet access services and/or other services to the Echinastone and/or Client.

"Services", "Products": rough and faceted gem stones, carved stones, jewelry, equipment, newsletters and other gem stone industry related fields.

"RMA": Return Merchandise Authorization stands for the code which is issued by the China-Stone.net Inventory System and allows money refunds for the returned merchandise.

"EMA": Exchange Merchandise Authorization stands for the code which is issued by the China-Stone.net Inventory System and allows exchange of equal value merchandise.

"New", "Unused": New and unused merchandise means that there are no marks on the item or any wear on the tags (such as the hologram or shipping tags) or the case or change of cutting style of the gemstone.

3. Return Merchandise Conditions

The product must be in new, unused, and unworn condition with all original packaging materials and unused certificates. Before returning an item for a money refund, please obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by filling appropriate form. The RMA number must be written on your original invoice and on the return shipping label.

If the product you´re returning includes a special offer, the additional item(s) must also be returned, or you may choose to have the cost subtracted from your refund.

Any returned items that are not accompanied by an official RMA number will be refused or sent back to you at your expense.

4. Exchange Merchandise Conditions

The product must be in new, unused, and unworn condition with all original packaging materials and unused certificates. Before returning an item for an equal value exchange, please obtain a Exchange Merchandise Authorization (EMA) number by appropriate form . The EMA number must be written on your original invoice and on the return shipping label.

If the product you are returning includes a special offer, the additional item(s) must also be returned, or you may choose to have the cost subtracted from your exchange.

Any returned items that are not accompanied by an official EMA number will be refused or sent back to you at your expense.

5. Merchandise Return Procedures

Returning merchandise for a Refund or an Exchange must be sent prepaid and insured for the full price by a traceable carrier such as UPS, USPS or Federal Express to:

PLEASE DO NOT WRITE JEWELRY, DIAMONDS OR ANY OTHER IDENTIFIABLE LUXURY ITEM WORD IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PACKAGE AGAINST POSSIBLE THEFT DURING TRANSPORTATION.

ECHINASTONE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ITEM THAT IS NOT RETURNED IN THE MANNER SET FORTH ABOVE.

6. Non Refundable Merchandize

Some Special, Discounted of Promotional Offers, have no return policy. This merchandise is clearly marked with the label "NO RETURN".

Return policies does not applied to:

  • All rough stones, in all categories.
     
  • All credit line purchases.
     
  • Items that are labelled as "NO RETURN".
     

7. Money Refund Procedures

We will refund money for returned merchandise in the same manner as merchandise which has been paid for. For example, if you made a purchase using your credit card, we will chargeback the amount to the credit card you used for the purchase, except for the Gift certificates which are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. Alternatively, if requested, we can place the refund balance into your on-line account at Echinastone website, to be applied towards future purchases.

8. Policy Summary

  • If we decide to change our Merchandise Return Policy for Echinastone, we will post those changes here.
     
  • All services provided by Echinastone to the Client are subject to the above policy.
